Irix-C by Xtant Medical is a standalone zero profile ACDF spacer with integrated locking mechanism, made of titanium plasma-coated (PC) PEEK with an encapsulated titanum ring. The titanium plasma coating on the toothed surfaces provides better x-ray visibility of the endplate, and aids in migration resistance and osteointegration. A titanium ring within the PEEK body provides increased torsional strength, and xray visualization of the implant as well. The zero step integrated locking arm creates tactile, audible, and visual feedback to indicate screw retention.
