DESCRIPTION

The MagnetOs family of synthetic bone void fillers by Kuros Biosciences is composed of a combination of 65-75% Beta Tri-calcium Phosphate (TCP - Ca3(PO4)2) and 25-35% Hydroxyapatite HA granules (Ca10(PO4)6 (OH)2). The unique featrure of this synthetic material is in the NeedleGrip surface technology crystaline structure of the microscopic surface that has been shown to activate the M2 macrophages important in the growth of bone. There are several formulations of the graule compounds

  • Crystalline microstructure activates M2 macrophages important in the growth of bone and away from the M1 (proinflammatory) macrophages.
