DESCRIPTION

The Blackbird Titanium Hinged Laminoplasty System (HLS) by Choice Spine is a novel design approach that eliminates the fitting plates through trial and error bending by offering a unique hinged design that conforms to a variety of anatomical geometry and spacers that fit a wide range of laminar thicknesses. The titanium spacers have a grit based tapered thread for increased fixation and high performance grip. The hinged bracket allows for placement first on the hinged side and allows the opening to accommodate for the spacer to open the lamina. Graft can be inserted into the titanium spacer.
